Booking terms.
Bookings
All cruises are by prior booking. A booking request sent through this website or WhatsApp is not confirmed until Rim Cruise confirms the date and time in writing on WhatsApp.
Minimum group size
Each cruise requires a minimum of 5 people or the equivalent payment. Groups smaller than 5 may book and will be charged the 5-person rate.
Payment
Payment is required to confirm a booking. Pay by card online straight after booking, or by EFT using the bank details we send on WhatsApp with your contact number as the reference. A date is secured only once payment has been received. If Rim Cruise has to change or cancel a booking, the refund terms below apply.
Weather and safety
The skipper's decision on whether conditions are safe is final. If Rim Cruise cancels a cruise because of weather or safety, you may choose a new date or a 70% refund.
On board
Life jackets are provided and must be worn by every guest for the duration of the cruise. Guests follow the skipper's instructions at all times. Rim Cruise may refuse to carry any guest who appears intoxicated or behaves in a way that puts others at risk, without refund.
Photos and videos
Rim Cruise and its representatives may capture photos and videos during your visit for marketing purposes. Mention it when you book if that is a concern.
Changes and cancellations
- Five or more days before the cruise: full refund, or a free date change.
- Two to four days before: 50% refund, or a free date change.
- Within 24 hours of the cruise: no refund and no date change.
Tell us on WhatsApp as early as you can. Refunds go back to the account that paid.
