Privacy notice.

Rim Cruise respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This notice explains what we collect when you book and what happens to it.

What we collect

When you send a booking request on this website we store your name, WhatsApp number, the package, date, time and group size you chose, and anything you type into the occasion and notes fields. Your email address is optional; if you give it, we use it to send you a written confirmation and status updates. Bookings made by phone or WhatsApp are added to the same system by our team.

Where it is stored

Booking requests are stored in Rim Cruise's booking system, which runs on Google Firebase (Google Cloud). If you give an email address, confirmation emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. Both act as operators on our behalf and may only use the information to provide those services to us.

Your booking link

Each booking has a status page reachable through a private link that we send you. The link cannot be guessed, but anyone you share it with can see the booking details on that page, so treat it like a ticket.

Why we use it

To confirm and manage your booking, to contact you about the cruise, to take payment by EFT, and to keep a record of who was on board. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone other than the operators named above, except where the law requires it.

Photos and videos

Rim Cruise may capture photos and videos during cruises for marketing purposes. Mention it when you book if that is a concern.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set tracking cookies of its own. Embedded maps and links to social networks are provided by those services and are subject to their own privacy policies.

Your rights
